What is your (full) name?
My name is Dai Wenjing. This is my Chinese name, but I’ve got an English name, you can call me Abigail.
Can I have your name please?
Could you tell me your full name please?
What shall I call you?
How can I address you?
Does your name have any special meaning?
In Chinese, Wenjing usually used to describe/depict/represent/ a girl who is gentle and adorable, that’s why my parents gave me that name. They wish me to be an understanding person.
As for my English name, Abigail comes from the Bible. She was the third wife of the king David. The meaning of Abigail is God is joy.
Is your name important to you?
To be honest/ frank, I don’t think so. A name is just a signal, it identifies who you are, but actually it has no point to your character, your mind, what ever. Just like you call a dog named Trump. To that dog, the name Trump has no meaning at all. he won’t think he is the president of America.
Do Korean[kə’rɪən] people like changing their name? Why?
Have you ever changed your name? Why or why not?
I have never changed my name. AS i don’t think my name has too much meaning or bother to me, so it’s just fine and i won’t change my name.
Why do so many people change their name?
Quora answer . People may change their name for different reasons. one motivation is that they want to make their name easier to remember or write. Just like some pupils, they may not know how to spell their name due to it’s too complicated for them. Some may change their name due to their names are awkward for other reasons, ie: they have ‘embarrassing linguistic connotations‘. Then there are those who hate their parents and will change their name in a final effort to completely break ties and all association with them.
Do you work or study?/Do you work or are you a student?/Do you like your job / course? Why / why not?

Yeah, I’m a graduate in Tianjin University and i major in computer science and also I’m studying English because I hope to go aboard for further education- Phd degree.
Don’t ask the examiner: “Do you mean in my country or here in England?” – it doesn’t matter. Don’t worry if you have a job and study at the same time – you can mention both.

Actually, I don’t really know what i want and what my interests are. I done my choise in 18. in that time I picked the computer science just for curiosity but I actually don’t know what this profession is and what i’m going to learn. it’s a kind of random choise.

What are your ambitions for the future?
me: It must be personal freedom. I dream to have social, economic, and cultural freedom in future.the reason is that without freedom nothing else matters. I want to have my own house, no matter I’m single or not. I hope i’ll reach high level cognitive stage that I can control my life, and follow my heart.
Quora answer: The simple answer is Personal freedom. The reason is that without freedom nothing else matters. To clarify that , I define freedom as the social, economic and cultural freedom to do as one pleases as long as it doesn’t harm others. This is simply defined as the ability to say “no” without having to be concerned with the consequences.
Ex 1. When you own your own business you can wear whatever you want instead of having to conform to “company policy “. This may sound like a small thing until you realize that this determines what type of clothes you buy. No one can decide for you when to wake up or go to bed. You are free.
Ex 2. Owning your own home ( outright ) frees you from the slavery of a mortgage or rent. This greatly reduces you stress levels since most of what we earn goes toward rent. This is a freedom for which there’s no substitute. When you Boss demands that you work overtime you can say “no” without worrying about the consequences.
Ex 3. Cultural freedom means that you are not limited by an accident of birth. This means that your race or culture of origin does not determine what you eat, what music you listen to or what type of food you you eat. You decide for yourself. I practice Hindu spirituality, cook Hunan and Sechuan style food and listen to Classical music. I love all of these things although none were part of the culture I grew up in.
Personal freedom has been my goal for some time now and always will be. I’ve known too many “rich” slaves.
Do you hope to gain any qualifications?
??? Yes, i want to get my Master’s and PhD degree.
dut to I am a student, the qualifications that I have got only include some rewards about my study, such as merit student, CET 4 and 6.
What are the advantages of studying instead of working?
me: In my point of view, The biggest advantage it’s that in school you are so freedom. you can do other things, you can have many friends and you have a lot of free time. In addition, the relationship is purer than in company. When you get into work, you may see some dark side, it’s not as pure as in school.
Others answer: In my point of view, if you are a good student than a good worker. so, I can say education is very important , cause of this we can show innate abilities . But in work these abilities are hide .
